McCulloch Chainsaws
McCulloch Chainsaws are well known for a wide range of electric and gas driven chainsaws. The McCulloch chainsaws were introduced in 1943 by Robert McCulloch in Milwaukee Wisconsin under the name McCulloch Motors Corporation. The first McCulloch Chainsaws was manufactured in 1948.
The 5-49 chainsaw two-man developed by McCulloch came up with a combination of light weight and more horsepower than any of the competitive two-man chain saw that was in the market those days. This was followed by the first one-man McCulloch chain saws, which was truly a remarkable product that revolutionized the entire chainsaw industry. It was the introduction of a chain saws that could be easily operated by a single person that opened the door to a new market place for McCulloch.
It was in 1958, that the company’s name was changed to McCulloch Corporation. In 1968, McCulloch introduced the new Power Mac 6; that weighed only 8.5 pounds, being fully fueled; it was the world's lightest chain saw in the market. The Mini Mac 1, introduced in the year 1972 opened the chain saws market which was affordable to the casual user. The Electric McCulloch chain saws was introduced in 1972 and the gas powered string trimmers, hedge trimmers and the blowers were added to McCulloch's line of products in the 1980s.

The electric MS 1415 chain saw (Input 8.0 Amp) has a 14" reduced kickback guide bar and has a net weight of 594 lbs and works at a no load cutting speed of 9m/sec. This comes equipped with a hand guard for additional protection and it is the ideal kind of electric chain saws that helps to cut down small trees, buck and prune similar to a regular chain saw.
The MS 1425 McCulloch chain saw is also equipped with a 14" guide bar and comes with 2.5 Peak HP to give additional power. The combined chain brake that comes combined with hand guard stops the chain automatically. This chain saw comes with an oiler that aids automatic lubrication and a low kickback chain.
The McCulloch chain saws MS1630 and MS 1640 are both equipped with a 16" reduced kickback guide bar that are ideal for trimming small to large size branches and helps cutting small to medium size trees.
